Blog: Create in a Safe Place

Don’t edit what you create before it has an opportunity to become what it’s supposed to be. Some of the greatest things that I’ve come up with made me feel dumb & nervous at first. I’m now much easier on myself, confident in my ability to have good ideas & have surrounded myself with people who I love creating with.

Yesterday I was in the studio with one of my creative collaborations who is producing a kid’s album I’m writing. I had an idea for a sound effect & I enthusiastically made the sound & he thought it was great! It’s taken years to get comfortable enough to do that.
